Please forgive the short post but I've been running on empty lately, hence the lack of blogging. I don't know what it is about the end of the school year that makes my kiddos go a little WILD & WACKY! Tattling in my room is at an all time high. So high that today when one of my students said my name to tattle again, I said "Who's that?, that's not my name anymore, I just changed my name". The poor kid looked at me very puzzled and went back to her seat...LOL! Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do! 7 DAYS & COUNTING!!!

ReplyDeleteWe finished last Friday in the classroom. By the end, my kinders had decided to show me every single work paper before placing them in the work basket. AAAAHH! They know the procedure: check to make sure everything is done, look for your name, put the paper in the basket. They know I do not "grade" these papers on the spot. I thought I had fallen down a hole into an alternative universe.
All of that to say--- the last week of kindergarten can be upsetting to everyone's equilibrium. Hang in there, you are heading into summer!!! :-)
