It's that time again!!! I'm linking up with Farley at Oh' Boy 4th Grade. Hop on over to her blog and join the fun!!

JUNE, ah! I've missed you so! I must say this school year came & went in the blink of an eye. I had a great bunch of kids this year...minus the ones that went a little bonkers the last few weeks of school.

Yesterday was our last day with students, and today was teacher workday...guess how many showed up on the last day? Can you guess? ZERO!!!!!!!! NONE of my students came to school! My principal asked me if I bribed them....LOL!! The day before that I had one little sweetie. I guess they all started their vacation a little early.

Speaking of vacations, I will be leaving to California this Sunday and I am soooo excited. We will be heading to San Francisco first for 3 days then to Monterey. I am excited to stop by the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I plan to take lots of photos to show my kiddos when we do our ocean unit. After two and a half weeks in Cali we'll be headed to Maui for a week then Oahu for another week. I can't promise I'll be on here much so I hope you all understand.

Hope you all have a Fantastic SUMMER!!! :)

  1. No kids on the last day of school? That's amazing. I guess you got a lot done that day. Enjoy CA!

  4. Oh my goodness!! We would get in trouble if that happened at our school, but how lucky are you?! I would've loved that day to work in my room!

  6. NEVER in my 11 years teaching have I NOT had any kids on the last day, and having one student the day before that was also a record!!

I think that was the "breaking news" of the day at my school...lol!!

On the day that I had one student we combined with my co-worker who had 13 out of 22 kids so my one little sweetie wouldn't be lonely :)

  7. I had all my kinders the last day, but it was my last day at the school, so I didn't mind! I can't believe none of them showed up. Wow!
