Currently....JULY!

July 1, 2014
I'm linking up with Farley from Oh Boy 4th Grade to bring you this month's currently.

Is it really July? I honestly feel like June went by in the blink of an eye. We start school on August 18th, so I'm really hoping July goes by reaalllllyyyyyy slow!!

These two e cards made me laugh OUT loud!!

Can I get an AMEN?!! This is the time where I've scheduled all our family appointments, as well as our dog's checkups & shots. Not to mention, I've been running errands like a crazy woman!

Another AMEN!!! My mind has been racing with all the things I want to do with my kids this year. I've taken time to search through TPT, pinterest, and bloglovin' for some fantastic products and ideas that I think my students will benefit from. Writing is something I struggle with each year, and that's mainly because a majority of my kids are ELL and can take up to half the school year mastering letters and sounds. This year I plan to beef it up 200% to get those little ones writing WAY sooner!

I've also been shopping for my classroom! I've been dying wanting to get rid of the old, dingy carpet in my classroom, and with the help of TPT I was finally able to do that! I purchased this adorable rug which I am anxiously stalking the mailman for!! :)

  1. Cool rug! I know what you mean about doing the year's worth of work in 10 months. And then we work some more! Enjoy the rest of your summer!

  3. I LOVE your new rug! :) And I put off going to the grocery store all the time. I thought in the summer it would be less crowded than on the weekends during the school year but I was so wrong. Is there ever a good time to go? I'm so glad I found your cute blog through the link up!
